birthday post two…

siyempre oreo muna… then pagpasok sa office, ayos! andun yung australian boss namin. medyo kaka-starstruck kasi foreigner talaga boss namin and first time ko siya nakita, and marami na rin pa-alala binigay sila sa ken. well, di naman me takot sa kanya… natural lang.

then, me kaburrday ako (ibang company, pero kasama namin sa office). syempre, ligtas na naman ako sa palibre ng mga ka-indigo8 ko… hahaha! first time na nakaligtas ako eh me nagpa-despedida nung payday namin! though di ko siya gano kilala, i was able to greet her naman. as i greeted her with full smiles, she smiled back and thanked me, one that is seasoned with 60 years of life experience. even just for that 2-second moment, ewan ko parang nasabi ko sa sarili kong mabait at maraming nagmamahal sa taong to.

hhhm… ganito kasi yun. i want to be a post-graduate scholar in singapore, or maybe japan. i want to be more adept with technology, communications and computer science. i want to have my own family and live a simple yet meaningful life. i want to be a professor in a university where students will learn a lot from me… i want to be… complete (pangcentrum yan, walang kokontra!)

later, tumawag sila tin, sir cris at sir henry sa (cell)phone… syempre binati nila ako haburrday. ayun…

i met with sir cris (mentor-friend ko) and jel (one of the nicest girls from ece in our school, and also a good friend of mine) sa gateway… akalain mo, nalibre na naman ako, this time sa burgoo… (ako pa nalibre, haha) actually may iba pa dapat, kaso (a. di na nakapunta, b. di ko na pinapunta, c. di na nagpunta, d. none of the above, e. all of the above)… whatever…..

pag-uwi ko, salamat rin sa mga koya’t mga ate ko, tsaka sa mom at dad ko… labs din nila ko syempre, haha puro pagkain pa rin. ayon kain na naman ako!

syempre, pray na ko mamaya bago ko matulog… zzzz antok na… salamat ke Lord sa 21 years na maganda, kapanapanabik at makulay na buhay….

birthday post one…

aruba, metrowalk

we, the indigo8 peeps (mp, don, sir herbert, ms osang, mr. robert, ms. heidi) went to metrowalk… it was actually my first time there (surprisingly, yes). we enjoyed the live band there (powerhouse)… haven’t heard really, but i was pretty much impressed by their vocal artistry and prowess (2 female, 1 male vocalists)… it was also fun when my indigo8 friends and the band recognized my birthday. the place was really cool, unless you’re expecting dance floor action, the ambience was relaxing – for light fun. i wasn’t supposed to drink alcoholic bev for 6 months (let’s just say it was a promise), but i wasn’t able to resist 1 bottle of san mig light. even though it was just 1 bottle, each drop of it somewhat felt like a pitcher of bliss. i really couldn’t get over the bittersweet after-taste, and to top it off, we had spicy garlic mushrooms, hickory (eklabu) chicken wings, steamed flavorful oysters and classy calamares.

as a gift to myself, i bought a shirt from bench. it ain’t the fanciest shirt, just a plain shirt with a big “20″ scribble in the middle. bench had its 20th anniversary, but for me, it’s my 21st birthday. sorry na lang, walang “21″ na shirt eh. i also bought 2 polo shirts from penshoppe. just watch me when i wear them (hehe).

big shots is my favorite billiards place. although i’ve been to different billiard halls before, even some more elegant, i have learned to love this place. they have fast service, live band performance, good food and cozy seats on the sides. i was with jec, bert and edcha, and played there for 3 hours. next to my kuya carlo, jec is my favorite billiards opponent/buddy. nakaka-challenge kasi and marami rin ako natututunan.

i also thank bert for giving me a copy of the calvin and hobbes sunday pages (1985-1995) comic book. well, calvin and hobbes is my favorite foreign comic strip, and i was very much happy to have a hold of the comic book that i’ve been craving for a long time ago. i love this comic because it brings back the inner child in me.

starbucks, tomas morato

we then went to starbucks, tomas morato. will you ever spend P175.00 just for a drink? well, it’s a YES for me, if that’s a venti java chip. i’d do extra hours at work for a venti cup of mouth-watering, creamy and cold coffee topped with spine tingling java chips (my favorite) even just occasionally.
