todo canvass din ako sa mga mall… as in lahat tinanong ko regarding notebooks. ilang gabi rin ako nagbasa-basa ng notebook reviews at forums… pati mga salesmen sa mga computer stores tinanong ko lahat, from brand, processor, reviews, service, warranty, etc… nasimot ko rin lahat ng brochures, flyers at pricelist nila… at etong unit na to yung pinaka-pasok sa budget at sa pangangailangan ko… (syempre, nung binili ko to, todo tawad din ako at hingi ng freebies — cooling pad, optical mouse at additional 1 gig ddr2).
masaya ako, first time kong bumili ng laughtough… hirap din kasi ako sa bahay pag tutok ako sa computer, hindi ako makanood ng tv… nakakakuba rin ung pwesto ko sa sala, kaya eto, portable… pwedeng nakahiga, nakatayo at nakaupo… tsaka marami rin ako ka-agaw sa pc sa bahay… sana tumagal to as in…

in terms of battery life, 2-2.5 hours siya pag normal usage (e.g. word processing, tsaka mp3…) pero pag gaming (e.g. dota), 1-1.5 hours siya (di ko pa rin masyado na-oobserve)…
if u really wanna save power, mag windows xp ka… or kung vista ka talaga, turn off lang lahat ng di kelangan na feature, like side bars, aero, effects, etc…
in terms of specs kasi, mura na talaga tong model na to… and ayos din naman ang acer na brand.
it all boils down to how you’re going to use the laptop… but if you’re going to ask me, this one’s great!
please tell me if you have other thoughts on this…..

this baby can even run crysis on low
pro street on high res but low
2006 below games are a peice of cake
overclocked it via rivatuner 520/540 i got around 1550 in 3dmark06 equivalent to nvidia 8400M GS (visit laptop2go forums)
enjoy, btw im on xp, thats 15% game boost, vista still sucks

regalo sa akin ng parents ko yng acer eh parehas tyo ng model ng laptop. gs2 ko lng maging mabilis yng laptop ko. nag try ako dun sa “msconfig” tapos yng nag restart ulit nag block pala yun so kailangan ko ulit i-undo, ano kaya pwede ko gawin??

@air, malabo atang mabagal yan… or baka iba defenition mo ng mabagal…. as in same unit ng sa akin? sa kin, windows vista, tapos kung ano ano pang mga tumatakbo like winamp, kaspersky (bg), ym, torrent (bg), ie7, dreamweaver, mysql, at burning software, sabay sabay lahat. check mo blog ni reiluke para mapabilis yang laptop mo….
sensya na, di ko kasi rin msyado tini-tweak ang vista ko… satisfied na ko sa bilis nya… ang problema lang, 2 hours lang sa batt….

i bought it at asianic, megamall cyberzone. 49.9k, with free cooling pad, optical mouse and additional 1gig ram.
since dec 2007 hanggang ngayon never ko pa siya pinarepair. wala pa kong naexperience na problem whatsoever d2… used it for gaming, software development, surfing, video, dvd burning, etc. etc… dapat lang marunong ka mag-alaga ng laptop…
